Good question!  Stocking plants for retail sale is a bit different than stocking say computer products.  Plants are alive and thus have many more obstacles to overcome prior to arriving on your doorstep.

• We ONLY send your plants so that you will receive them prior to the weekend.  We do not want them sitting in a warehouse sitting in an uncontrolled environment.  Thus, your shipment may be delayed until the prior week to guarantee this.  That is, if we receive your order after Tuesday.  We will ship on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday depending on the estimated days of delivery for an order.
• If the weather is too cold (below freezing) or excessively hot, shipping may be delayed until the weather more desirable.
• After the main spring rush has been delivered (by the third week of May), your order will be sent immediately, or delayed until the following week so that the plants will arrive prior to a weekend.
• When placing an order for the spring, please specify the week you would like your plants to be delivered.  This will help us greatly in scheduling the big spring rush.  We don't want early spring deliveries to be too late nor too early. Also indicate if you are on vacation the next week incase your shipment is delayed.
